Overview
Ngulia Safari Lodge, one of the properties owned and managed by Kenya Safari Lodges & Hotels Ltd (KSLH) was officially opened on May 22, 1969. The Lodge is situated in one of the World’s Largest Game Park – the Tsavo West National Park, on the edge of the Ndawe escarpment offering a vast panorama of Tsavo’s sweeping plains and volcanic landscape. The serenity of the lodge makes it a perfect getaway with a clear view of mount kilimanjaro.

“Our last night for our 4-day, 3-night safari, and it was a success with a nice surprise. Here you are perched on a high plateau that overlooks Tsavo West, the view is truly impressive. You are captivated from the moment you arrive. Also, you will have the direct presence of animals at the foot of the lodges and the restaurant: while buffalo and warthogs come to drink directly in front of the reception, the elephants stay a little further away but nearby.”
“Lodge a bit dated but it doesn’t matter because the view and the fact of living so close to elephants and buffalo makes the place magical. The rooms have a terrace and the view is priceless. Baboons, elephants, buffaloes.....MANY. You eat by seeing these animals. The hot water in the evening is from 19.30 and afternoon and night there is no light. PURE MAGIC!”
