Day-By-Day Itinerary

1

- You'll be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport around 7:00 AM. The drive to the Masai Mara takes about 5-6 hours, passing through the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for photos. You'll arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.
- After settling in, head out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. The late afternoon light is excellent for spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffalo. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

2

- This is your full day to explore the reserve. Start with an early morning game drive since its the best time for predator activity. You may spot lions returning from the hunt, cheetahs on the move, or leopards lounging in trees.
- Return to the lodge for breakfast, then head out again with a packed lunch for a full day of game viewing. You'll explore different areas of the reserve, including the Mara River (where the wildebeest migration crossings happen in peak season) and the open plains where grazers congregate.
- As evening approaches, return to the lodge for dinner.

3

Take a final early morning game drive before returning for a full breakfast. Check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.

★★★★

“What an unforgettable experience travelling through Kenya has been. I’ve been lucky enough to safari around many parts of Southern Africa and would put our guide Korir right at the top of the list of safari guides I have had.”

★★★★★

“Kamara always knew where to go and explained to us the habits of the big and also the small animals like the kingfisher. We could feel that he was as excited as we were. The big safari vehicle was well equipped (even containing a little fridge) and got us everywhere safely and regarding the “streets” also quite comfortably.”
